Double Double Coupon Day @ Pick N Save

Yesterday was Double Double Coupon Day @ Pick N Save. Which means you were able to double up to 10 coupons (verses the standard 5) that have a original face value of up to $1.00 with a $25 purchase (before coupons). I saved $41.05 and payed $21.54 out of pocket after coupons for about a 66% savings on my order. This was not a FULL shopping trip just picked up a few things we needed, a few items on sale and then a few items that I couldn't pass up for nearly free once I applied a double coupon to it.

Here's what I got for $21.54!!

  2. This isn't an "amazing" deal, but when I went diaper shopping on Monday, I looked at the store brand diapers for the store I was in. If a person were to purchase to box with the two packages inside, they would pay just over $13.60 for the box of 92 or 96 diapers. If that same person were to purchase two separate packages of 50 diapers in the soft packaging, they were just under $5.50 each. So by paying attention to the packaging and quantities, THIS person saved about $2.50 for more diapers!

  3. You are correct!! Diapers are FAMOUS for making you think the box is a better deal. I always have a calculator with me to check per/qty pricing because a larger qty pkg is NOT always the better deal. We go through a bottle of Shout a week in this house..Walmart has 32oz spray bottles of Shout for $2.22/each and the 64oz refill bottle for $4.96. Well why would I buy the refill bottle when I can get 2 spray bottles with the same 64ozs MINUS the hassle of having to refill a bottle for $4.44 a savings of $0.52.
